Franni Cash Releases New Single 'The Real Thing'

Today, performer, vocalist, and songwriter Franni Cash has released the latest song from her highly anticipated debut solo album. “The Real Thing,” co-written with Justin Wilson, Austin Cain, and Ed Cash, features a gentle piano melody complimenting Franni’s vocals and confessional lyrics that strive to find something pure and real beyond all the smoke and mirrors.

“I couldn’t be more grateful and excited to share “The Real Thing,” says Franni. “This song came out of one of the the darkest seasons of my life. I was seeking truth for myself, not what everyone else was saying. If that sounds familiar, this song is for you.”

“The Real Thing” is the latest offering from Franni’s debut solo album, Here I Am. It follows the incredible critical reception of “Darken the Doorway,” “Church Clothes,” “Raised By Wolves,” “Jesus All Along,” and “Menace” which have received over 7.5 million streams to date. This Fall, Franni will join Amy Grant as a special guest on “The Me That Remains Tour”. The eight-date run will kick off on September 18th in Hot Springs, AR and make stops across the south before wrapping in San Francisco on September 27th.
