Twitter has suspended a “suspicious” and “misleading” account which made the Covington Catholic High School hate hoax video go viral.

According to the Hill, an account called @2020fight posted the edited video, which led to the widespread harassment of the high school teenagers. The account reportedly claims to belong to a California schoolteacher, but its profile photo is of a blogger based in Brazil.

The edited video made it appear that a group of students here harassing a Native American activist, when in fact the students were being harassed by a group called the Black Hebrew Israelites.
