On this solemn day of remembrance, we pause to honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is not forgotten. Today’s prayer is a tribute to those who laid down their lives for the sake of freedom and peace. As we remember them, we also pray for the loved ones they left behind — asking God to comfort their hearts, strengthen their spirits, and fill them with peace that surpasses understanding. John 15:13 (NIV) reminds us: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” Let this devotional and prayer invite you into a sacred moment of gratitude, reflection, and reverence — not only for the fallen, but for the God who sees and holds every loss.
