Foundations of the Church

Sunday, October 11, 2026
In this special episode of Faith Answers, Pastor Gary Roy celebrates the 41st anniversary of Colonial Oaks Baptist Church while teaching from Acts 2 on the true foundations of the Lord’s church. Looking at the early believers after Pentecost, he highlights four essential pillars: the apostles’ doctrine (the preaching and teaching of God’s Word), genuine fellowship, the breaking of bread (including the Lord’s Supper), and prayers. Pastor Gary shows how these biblical practices create a living, Spirit-filled body rather than just a social organization, and how they still form the pattern for a healthy church today.
The message includes a clear gospel invitation and a call for believers to examine their hearts as they remember Christ’s sacrifice.
