A hard-fought rivalry loss, a much-needed bye, and a first-ever matchup on the road.
Host Chad Choate and Head Coach Jacquez Green look back at the 37-14 setback against Palmetto—a competitive first half that unraveled after the break with turnovers and fatigue after eight straight games. Missing key pieces like Dino and AJ Early hurt, but the coach already has one eye on a possible playoff rematch.
The bye week brought rest, treatment, and fresher legs. Now the Hurricanes head to Parrish for a district game against the winless Bulls—the first varsity meeting between the schools. Expect energy, possible trick plays, and a 3-3 stack look on defense. The message is clear: jump on them early, play a complete game, and take care of business.
7:00 kickoff at Parrish Community High School.
Tune in for the honest film review, the recovery update, and the scouting report. Then follow the Canes on the road and keep the postseason push alive.
