After a two-and-a-half-hour lightning delay with almost no rain, the Hurricanes punched through for a 48-27 win over Lake Brantley. Kaden White was unstoppable—long runs, short runs, five scores—while the offensive line (including first-year players) carved out lanes and the skill guys worked the intermediate routes to perfection. The defense settled in after early motion headaches, forced turnovers, and helped turn a slow start into a statement victory that got the team home around 3 or 4 a.m.

Now it’s a short trip down the road to Ramble for a Friday night clash with the Riverview Rams. A physical, run-first team with a high-powered passing game, man-coverage pressure on defense, and plenty of local flavor—including some personal family ties for the host. It’s the first true area matchup of the season, and both sides are ready.
